Motivation and Supervisors
People are not software. They act a particular way not as it was something that other people want for themselves but because of a reason and not for anything. Many people will say that they do something because they desire to. Well, why do they want to? Its because of something. This something is a persons inspiration.
Like a car, a person will need some sort of gas that will rev it up to go. The gas is always that one thing that will push a car. The same goes with folks. Motivation is the solitary driving factor that makes people get up and go. It’s that one thing that will make sure they are do things that they must be doing.
There are different kinds of motivation for different folks. People want different things for their lives and so, they do things for various reasons. Some people are motivated by their need for security. This could be in the form of material possessions or security using their state in life. For a lot of having money in their bank account will make them secure while there are individuals who need to have a steady job in order to do that. Some people however are motivated by the need for recognition or perhaps achievement while there are some who are already quite happy with having a network of individuals supporting them.
These types of different kinds of motivation determines the things that people will carry out with their lives and how they’ll respond to people. As an example, people who are more motivated by recognition do not care about the money. They only want to be known in order to be famous. They are artists of the mobile phone industry’s who do not really treatment if they earn or otherwise. Their need is not to earn money but to show the world their artwork and be recognized for it.
Another example are women who are already fine being housewives as well as staying at home to look after their families. It is not simply because they cannot have a job of their own, they just don’t have the drive to go into the corporate world. These ladies are not motivated to be recognized for their work however to be loved through those that they adore. These people are motivated through their need for association.
Motivation is important in the sense that you will understand how you can deal with individuals if you know how they are motivated. For instance for those who have employees who are safety driven, you will know that they have to be at peace with their jobs. They should most likely given housing and car benefits. Additional employees however have to be praised and acknowledged more than others. Necessities such as ones who are much more motivated by acknowledgement. Anoother type of persons have to be given responsibilities.
The harder the merrier. If they are not given these types of, they will feel overlooked. Others on the other hand dont would like responsibilities at all. They just want to be invited in order to concerts because they require affiliation.
Knowing what inspires a person will help supervisors handle their subordinated better. It will also easier so they can give them tasks and also assign them to specific jobs. Hiring people will even yield better results if you find their motivation. After all, all you need to actually do would be to hire people who are achievement-oriented.
These kinds of peoples motivation are internal. They are motivated to accomplish and accomplish. You can’t get a better staff than that.
